Your ideas are valuable, it's time to build them

I've always been really good at coming up with ideas and having a vision forward. It's like a fun version of a puzzle as you let ideas unfold and connect.

Most of my web development life I was told that it didn't matter whether my ideas were good enough or not, that "ideas are not worth anything" and "ideas are cheap". It was always disappointing to hear even though I understood that pursuing an idea was very costly.

Over time I would see people having success with the same ideas I had but at a much later stage in time. I couldn't help but feel that I let myself down in not pursuing my own vision of the product, even though I knew I likely wouldn't have built out the entire product and made a success of it.

Well, times have changed.

I'm here today and tomorrow to tell you that your ideas are valuable. There's a place for you in the world, and as a matter of fact, there hasn't been a better time to be a person with ideas, small or big.

LLMs and AI-related tools have removed the knowledge gatekeeping and barriers behind all of the different roles needed for digital products and services. You can be your own product manager, graphic designer, web developer and marketer, among many other roles. You can take a product from beginning to end. I've taught thousands of students web development and I've seen how lives can be changed. You can change your life for generations to come.

The only barrier now is you. Your ideas are valuable, and it's time to build them!
